Verona welcomes the 1000 Miglia for the lunch of the 4th leg

After leaving Bologna, the cars reached the cities of Modena and Reggio Emilia and then Mantova before arriving in the beautiful Piazza Bra in Verona for lunch: the 1000 Miglia pays its homage to Verdi a few hours before the staging of Aida this evening at the Arena, for the 150th year of the opera, led by maestro Riccardo Muti.

A few minutes of rest and the cars will set off towards the lake, reaching first Peschiera and then Sirmione and Desenzano for the now classic greeting. Finally, the crews will discover new panoramas that represent an absolute novelty for the 1000 Miglia such as Salò, retracing the stretch of the Garda Circuit raced for the first time in 1921 and this year celebrating its centenary. In the city there will be the last Stamp Check on the lakeside in front of the town hall, then the cars will go to the finish line in Brescia, passing through Valsabbia, where people will see the Freccia Rossa for the first time.
