96 years ago, at 8 a.m. on 26th March 1927, Aymo Maggi and Bindo Maserati’s Isotta Fraschini started the first edition of the Most Beautiful Race in the World.
The race was won by Nando Minoja and Giuseppe Morandi in an O.M. 665 Superba, completing the journey from #Brescia to #Rome and back in just 21 hours and 4 minutes.

It was the beginning of the story of an epic race and a dream open to the extraordinary possibilities offered by the future, of discovering and enhancing the Italian territory.

96 anni fa, alle 8:00 del mattino del 26 Marzo 1927 l’Isotta Fraschini di Aymo Maggi e Bindo Maserati diede inizio alla prima edizione della Corsa Più Bella del Mondo.
A vincere la gara fu l’O.M. 665 Superba di Nando Minoja e Giuseppe Morandi, che in sole 21 ore e 4 minuti completò il tragitto da #Brescia a #Roma e ritorno.

Fu l’inizio della storia di una gara epica e di un sogno aperto alle straordinarie possibilità offerte dal futuro, di scoperta e valorizzazione del territorio italiano.

The #1000Miglia is proud to have had the support of @Vredestein again during the third edition of the #CoppadelleAlpi.
A partner of the #RedArrow since 2017, with whom it shares a passion for classic cars and on-road adventures, the Official Tyre Partner of #CoppadelleAlpi2023 had a Special Trophy named after it during the second leg of the race: on the snow covered surface of the Montebello quarry, the official #VredesteinTrophy crew were able to test the efficiency of #vredesteintyres.

Famous for its ski slopes, the site of Olympic and world competitions, for its curative thermal baths known since ancient times and for its artistic and architectural beauty, Bormio welcomed the competing cars, which, after carrying out the last Time Controls near the Church of San Vitale, paraded through the heart of Piazza Kuerc 🚗 🤩

Little time left to the arrival of the last leg of #CoppadelleAlpi2023 ⌛ 🚗

Before reaching the final finish line in Bormio, the competing cars passed through the Passage Controls on the Aprica Pass, a pass between the provinces of Brescia and Sondrio located in 📌Media Valtellina📌 an Alpine location rich in nature, history, flavors and traditions that encompasses twelve towns in the heart of the valley.

Prima di raggiungere il traguardo finale di Bormio, le auto in gara hanno effettuato il Controllo Timbro del Passo Aprica, valico tra le province di Brescia e Sondrio situato nella 📌@mediavaltellina 📌, località alpina ricca di natura, storia, sapori e tradizioni che racchiude dodici comuni nel cuore della valle.
