The Charity 2021 project turns pink: 1000 Miglia S.r.l. will support the IEO-MONZINO Foundation in support of research carried out at the IEO Women’s Cancer Center, the first center in Italy dedicated to the world of women’s cancers.
From 16th to 19th June, the convoy of historic cars will be flanked by the Supercars and Hypercars of the 1000 Miglia Experience, the new 1000 Miglia format that sees the partnership with Supercar Owners Circle renewed for 2021. Among the cars of SOC – Official Supercar Club Partner – there will be a Pink Car: a special car with an all-female super team captained by the two board members of the IEO-MONZINO Foundation Warly Tomei (creator of the initiative) and Umberta Gnutti Beretta, together with Viviana Galimberti, Director of the Division of Surgical Senology of the IEO-Istituto Europeo di Oncologia (European Institute of Oncology).
Alessandra Mastronardi, Caterina Balivo, Melissa Satta, Cristina Parodi and Francesca Piccinini will be the special drivers who during the race will invite donations in support of the IEO-MONZINO Foundation, to support cancer research and in particular the Women’s Cancer Center, the multidisciplinary and multifunctional center for women at IEO.
Anyone can support the project by making a free donation through the specific crowdfunding page https://partecipa.fondazioneieoccm.it/projects/1000-miglia-experience-per-la-ricerca
The Women’s Cancer Center is the first center in Italy dedicated to the world of women’s cancer in its entirety: from the management of the risk of getting sick, early diagnosis, treatment, up to the reintegration into everyday life with the recovery of the individual life project. It is therefore ”a place for women”, dedicated to women’s health as a whole. The ultimate goal is that, once she crosses the threshold of the center, the woman entrusts herself to those who take care of her, without having to think of anything other than her well-being.
