Located in the heart of Franciacorta, one of Italy’s most renowned wine-producing\u00a0areas.<\/h4>\n\n\n

Adro<\/strong> is a municipality in the province of Brescia, located in the heart of Franciacorta, one of Italy’s most renowned wine-producing areas. The town is surrounded by hills and vineyards but offers much more than picturesque views and excellent wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre preserves an interesting historical and architectural heritage. In addition to the Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista<\/strong>, other notable buildings include the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Castello<\/strong>, located in a panoramic position and surrounded by the remains of ancient walls<\/strong> and a medieval tower<\/strong>, and the Church of Santa Maria in Favento<\/strong>, which is smaller but full of charm. Near the centre is the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve<\/strong>, a place of worship vry dear to the local population and the many pilgrims who visit every year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 17th-century Palazzo Bargnani-Dandolo,<\/strong> now the town hall, once a place of culture, art and Risorgimento thought, bears witness to the deep bond between Adro and history. Its rooms, with their 19th-century paintings, tell the story of a vibrant period in Italian history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not far from the centre is Torbiato<\/strong>, a hamlet of Adro, surrounded by vineyards and the tranquillity of the Franciacorta countryside. Here too, you can breathe in the authenticity of the area, among farms, wineries and well-preserved rural landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For nature lovers, Monte Alto<\/strong> offers hiking trails through woods and panoramic views of the plain and nearby Lake Iseo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
