The company, in collaboration with specialized consultants, has embarked on a structured and ambitious journey aimed at offsetting the environmental impact of its events and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first step in this direction was <strong>the calculation of the carbon footprint of the Coppa delle Alpi 2023, carried out in accordance with ISO 14067. <\/strong>The project then continued with the offsetting of <strong>100% of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by the event<\/strong> through the purchase of internationally recognized carbon credits, as well as with the implementation of a Carbon Management strategy. This strategy included both emission reduction and offsetting measures, making the Coppa delle Alpi 2023 a carbon-neutral event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, <strong>an analysis of the carbon footprint of 1000 Miglia Srl for the year 2022 was conducted in compliance with ISO 14064.<\/strong> This analysis confirmed the total amount of the company\u2019s greenhouse gas emissions, as the organizer of all Freccia Rossa events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, the objective was to identify a systematic, <strong>replicable method<\/strong> applicable to all events organized by the company.
