The classification, displayed by regulation this morning at dawn, certified that crew number <strong>46<\/strong> finished in the lead at the halfway mark. However, nothing is set in stone yet. For the final coronation, the ascent of Italy must first be tackled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the third leg, from the Italian capital to Parma, the morning route promises to be evocative. The first car left Rome at 6:15, and is expected in Siena shortly after noon.
