{"id":32219,"date":"2023-03-01T10:27:56","date_gmt":"2023-03-01T09:27:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/?p=32219"},"modified":"2023-03-06T12:03:59","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T11:03:59","slug":"the-coppa-delle-alpi-2023-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/2023\/the-coppa-delle-alpi-2023-kicks-off\/","title":{"rendered":"THE COPPA DELLE ALPI 2023 KICKS OFF"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Everything is ready for the start of the third edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/events\/coppa-delle-alpi\/coppa-delle-alpi-2023\/\"><strong>Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia<\/strong><\/a>, when <strong>72 cars <\/strong>will set off in the late afternoon from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/events\/coppa-delle-alpi\/coppa-delle-alpi-2023\/i-luoghi-di-coppa-delle-alpi-2023\/\">Tirano<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the morning, 50 crews <\/strong>will participate in the<strong> \u201cBergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023\u201d Trophy, <\/strong>an all-Brescia prologue to the race that celebrates the unbreakable bond between the <strong>1000 Miglia<\/strong> and the city in the year of its investiture as Italian Capital of Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the start <strong>at 11:00 a.m.<\/strong> from the <strong>Mille Miglia Museum<\/strong>, the cars will drive along the city circuit that will take them from the Castle, where they will face the block of <strong>Time Trials valid for the Trophy<\/strong>, to the arrival in Corso Zanardelli, in the heart of Brescia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the afternoon, the official start of the Coppa delle Alpi 2023: from Tirano, the route will go beyond the Swiss border until crossing, at the end of a night climb almost 34 km long, the <strong>Bernina Pass<\/strong>, in the presence of the <strong>glaciers of Pizzo Pal\u00f9, Bellavista and Bernina<\/strong>, not forgetting the famous <strong>white lake<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driving through the Engadin, the cars will then reach the outskirts of <strong>Saint Moritz<\/strong> where, along the road that runs alongside the <strong>Horse Shoe<\/strong> (the section of the Olympia Bobrun, the world\u2019s oldest bobsleigh track and the only one with natural refrigeration) they will compete in the first block of <strong>Time Trials<\/strong> that will decide the winner of the <strong>\u201cCity of Saint Moritz\u201d Trophy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everything is ready for the start of the third edition of the Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia, when 72 cars will set off in the late afternoon from Tirano.
