The cars then drove into the heart of the Veneto region to <strong>Piazza Bra in Verona<\/strong> for a <strong>Passage Control <\/strong>in front of the <strong>Arena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along the Veneto side of the Po the crews tackled a block of nine Time Trials. Following the course of the river, they first came to Ferrara for the Time Control in Piazza Trento e Trieste and then it was the turn of Lugo and Imola, which hosted the last Time Trials of the day in its famous Autodromo: the partial classification confirmed the results of the Tests along the Po, rewarding <strong>Fontanella<\/strong> and <strong>Covelli<\/strong> in a <strong>1927 Lancia Lambda Spider Type 221<\/strong>. Right behind were the and <strong>Turelli-Turelli <\/strong>crews in a <strong>1929 O.M. 665 S MM Superba 2000<\/strong>. Leaving the territory of Imola, it has been <strong>Forl\u00ec<\/strong> to welcome the race in <strong>Piazza Saffi <\/strong>for the second consecutive year. The <strong>Time Control<\/strong> at the end of the leg was in <strong>Piazza Andrea Costa in Cervia-Milano Marittima<\/strong> for 9:30 p.m., followed by the parade of cars at the foot of the Torre San Michele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beatrice Saottini<\/strong>, President of 1000 Miglia Srl: <em>\u201cBy passing through Emilia today, we have given a strong signal. We didn&#8217;t want to give it up, but the first ones to strongly want the 1000 Miglia to pass through were precisely the municipalities that were flooded, and this makes us proud and gives us a great sense of responsibility.
