Now you can register yourself online<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stopwatch is running: from today, registrations<\/strong> for the Mille Miglia 2014<\/strong> may be made online<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owners of cars meeting the Rules & Regulations may enter their data on www.1000miglia.it<\/strong><\/a> and apply to participate in the thirty-second edition of “the world’s most beautiful race”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Models eligible to participate are those of which at least one example took part in the historic race events (1927-1957) – these cars are listed in the appropriate section of our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should it be possible to prove that the list is incomplete, i.e. that a car not listed effectively took part in a race event, then that model of car shall be added to the list of eligible vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A maximum<\/strong> of 430 cars<\/strong> may take part in the 2014 event. They must possess at least one of these documents: Fiche ACI-CSAI<\/strong> (Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana), FIA HTP<\/strong> (Historic technical passport<\/em> issued by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de l’Automobile<\/em>) or FIVA ID<\/strong> (Identity Card<\/em> issued by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale des V\u00e9hicules Anciens<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, applicants should submit as much information\/history\/photographs as possible, keeping in mind that priority is given to examples of cars which took part in one of the historic race events between 1927 and 1957<\/strong> and to cars with a proven track history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only complete applications will be taken into consideration, i.e. those which include all the requested documents, photographs and proof of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cars will be selected by a committee made up of experts nominated by 1000 Miglia S.r.l. and by technical experts of international standing. Chairing the committe will be Mario Mottini<\/strong>, President of the ASI<\/strong> (Automoto Club Storico Italiano) Technical Committee<\/strong> and Vice-President of the FIVA Technical Commission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Selection Committee<\/strong> shall have unlimited authority to admit or refuse applications at its sole discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline for applications is midnight on 15th January 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of 28th February 2014<\/strong>, applicants may verify online whether their application has been successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
