The excitement of the race has never been lacking. After the <em>unicum<\/em> of the 2024 edition, dedicated to the ambitious project of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/events\/coppa-delle-alpi\/coppa-delle-alpi-2024-the-great-alpine-journey\/28th-april-4th-may\/\">The Great Alpine Journey<\/a><\/em> in support of the communities in the macro-region of the same name, the <strong>sporting part<\/strong> will once again be the <strong>beating heart of the event,<\/strong> together with the discovery of an <strong>territory <\/strong>that is as fascinating as it is challenging to cross, due to the harsh climate and rugged terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coppa delle Alpi embodies the<strong> bold, free and gritty spirit <\/strong>of the Red Arrow, a true <em>1000 Miglia Style <\/em>challenge. Hence the decision to start from <strong>Brescia<\/strong>, the<em> City of the 1000 Miglia,<\/em> which in the early afternoon of Wednesday 12 March will host the technical and administrative checks in the streets of the city centre. This will be followed by the very first edition of the <strong>Citt\u00e0 di Brescia<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>Tro<\/strong><strong>phy<\/strong>, an exciting <strong>1 vs 1 knockout challenge<\/strong> that will bring the city centre to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The crews will face <strong>80 Time Trials and 6 Average Trials<\/strong> along a route that will wind through <strong>11 Alpine passes<\/strong> and will cross the borders of <strong>Switzerland, Austria and Italy<\/strong> in <strong>3 legs.<\/strong> After the start in Brescia, <strong>St. Moritz<\/strong> and <strong>Bressanone<\/strong> will host the leg finishes, with the <strong>final finish line<\/strong> on the <strong>Tonale Pass.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the prize-giving ceremony, which will take place at high altitude in the splendid setting of the <strong>Presena Glacier,<\/strong> there will also be space for a fun driving experience on the snow on the <strong>Val di Sole Ice Track<\/strong>, with trials valid for the awarding of the <strong>Ponte di Legno Trophy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The winners of the <a href=\"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/events\/coppa-delle-alpi\/coppa-delle-alpi-2025\/\">2025 Coppa delle Alpi<\/a> will also receive 7 Admission Guarantees to the 1000 Miglia 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The deadline for formalising the entry is 4 p.m. on Friday 7 February 2025.<\/strong> Cars built <strong>before 1990<\/strong> will be accepted for the event and <strong>confirmation of acceptance<\/strong> will be communicated by <strong>14 February<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The thrill of competition returns to the Coppa delle Alpi, a winter regularity race organised by 1000 Miglia which, with its 900 kilometres through the Alpine passes, will officially inaugurate the Italian Major Events Championship of ACI Sport from 12 to 16 March 2025.
