{"id":51962,"date":"2025-01-31T16:26:31","date_gmt":"2025-01-31T15:26:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/?p=51962"},"modified":"2025-02-17T10:43:02","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T09:43:02","slug":"last-week-to-enter-the-coppa-delle-alpi-by-1000-miglia-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/2025\/last-week-to-enter-the-coppa-delle-alpi-by-1000-miglia-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"LAST WEEK TO ENTER THE COPPA DELLE ALPI BY 1000 MIGLIA 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There is still time to enter the fifth edition of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/events\/coppa-delle-alpi\/\">Coppa delle Alpi<\/a><\/strong>, a re-enactment of the speed race that in 1921 for the first time saw a group of daring drivers cover <em>\u201c2300 harsh kilometres\u201d<\/em>, as a poster of the time described them, through the pitfalls of the then inhospitable Alpine terrain, devoid of infrastructure but full of the dangers that only the wildest mountains can offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coppa delle Alpi is the competition that best embodies the<strong> daring, free and gritty spirit<\/strong> of the <strong>Red Arrow\u2019s<\/strong> most authentic soul. This year, as was the case for the first three winter editions in 2019, 2022 and 2023, it will once again be the <strong>first race<\/strong> of the year valid for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acisport.it\/campionati\/CIGE\/\">Italian Major Events Championship<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The race will start from <strong>Brescia<\/strong>,<em> City of the 1000 Miglia<\/em>, on the morning of 13 March: the crews will cover almost <strong>900 kilometres<\/strong> in <strong>3 legs<\/strong> travelling between <strong>Italy, Switzerland and Austria<\/strong>. There will be <strong>82 Time Trials<\/strong>, and <strong>6 Average Trials<\/strong> with 28 secret detections<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>St. Moritz<\/strong> and <strong>Brixen<\/strong> will host the l<strong>eg finishes<\/strong>, but the convoy will also pass through the heart of famous localities such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livigno.eu\/en\/\">Livigno<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>Val Mustair<\/strong>, in order to carry out some of the planned sporting activities, without forgetting the <strong>splendid environmental settings<\/strong> offered by the <strong>11 Alpine passes<\/strong> and <strong>Lake Resia<\/strong> (after the end of the works for which it was temporarily emptied, the famous submerged bell tower rose again from the frozen lake), until the <strong>arrival at Passo del Tonale<\/strong> in the late afternoon of Saturday 15 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners will be awarded <strong>7 guarantees of acceptance to the 1000 Miglia 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, there will be two <strong>Special Trophies<\/strong> in this edition: the first will be held in the afternoon of Thursday 12 March, after scrutineering, in the centre of Brescia. The format of the <strong>Citt\u00e0 di Brescia<\/strong> <strong>Trophy<\/strong> will be a <strong>1 vs 1 knockout challenge<\/strong>, appreciated by participants and spectators alike. The <strong>Ponte di Legno Trophy<\/strong>, on the other hand, will be held after the race at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pistaghiacciovaldisole.com\/\">Pista Ghiaccio Val di Sole<\/a><\/strong>, which will host an entertaining series of <strong>Time Trials on the snow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The deadline for entering is 4 pm (CET) on Friday 7 February<\/strong>.
