{"id":52403,"date":"2025-02-18T16:26:06","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T15:26:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/?p=52403"},"modified":"2025-02-18T16:26:10","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T15:26:10","slug":"the-red-arrow-among-the-beauties-of-southern-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/2025\/the-red-arrow-among-the-beauties-of-southern-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"THE RED ARROW AMONG THE BEAUTIES OF SOUTHERN ITALY"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One more month to enter the first edition of the 1000 Miglia Experience\u00a0Italy<\/h2>\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/1000miglia.it\/en\/events\/1000-miglia-experience\/1000-miglia-experience-italy-2025\/\">1000 Miglia Experience Italy<\/a><\/strong>, the <strong>Red Arrow&#8217;s Italian event will debut in the coming weeks,<\/strong> offering a driving experience through <strong>Southern Italy<\/strong>, from the Tyrrhenian to the Adriatic shores, discovering <strong>wonders <\/strong>including <strong>four UNESCO heritage sites<\/strong>: the Amalfi Coast, the Sassi of Matera, the Trulli of Alberobello and Castel del Monte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A result of the positive experience of Sorrento Roads, the first <strong>1000 Miglia Experience Italy <\/strong>will have its prologue right in the centre of Sorrento where the <strong>1 vs. 1 knockout challenge <\/strong>valid for the <strong>Citt\u00e0 di Sorrento Trophy <\/strong>will be held on the late afternoon of <strong>Thursday, 10 April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the start on Friday, 11 April, the crews will travel along the <strong>Amalfi Coast <\/strong>and continue toward <strong>Salerno <\/strong>until they enter the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinadarechi.com\/en\/\">Marina d&#8217;Arechi<\/a> <\/strong>and conduct the first Time Trials here. Turning inland, they will reach <strong>Caggiano<\/strong>, for the first race lunch. In the afternoon, the convoy will arrive in <strong>Basilicata <\/strong>for a challenging race sector with 2 Average Trials and 27 Time Trials divided into two blocks. After the sporting exertions, the excitement of the passage through the heart of <strong>Matera<\/strong>: the route leading to the leg finish offers a privileged viewpoint of the famous <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isassidimatera.com\/\">Sassi.<\/a> &nbsp;<\/strong>Having parked the cars in <strong>Piazza Pietro Caveoso<\/strong>, a walk will open up to the splendour of the <em>Citt\u00e0 dei Sassi<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday, 12 April, after departing Matera, the convoy will head to <strong>Puglia. <\/strong>Continuing southeast, they will arrive in Noci and <strong>Alberobello <\/strong>for a guided tour to discover the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unesco.cultura.gov.it\/en\/projects\/i-trulli-di-alberobello\/\">Trulli<\/a><\/strong>. Stopwatches in hand, they leave town and head north. Continuing the ascent, the crews will face the <strong>last series of <\/strong>sports <strong>trials <\/strong>of the event in Binetto, <strong>inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.levantecircuit.com\/\">Autodromo del Levante<\/a><\/strong>. The second race lunch will be in <strong>Andria,<\/strong> followed by a passage control with an adjoining visit to<a href=\"https:\/\/museipuglia.cultura.gov.it\/musei-puglia\/castel-del-monte\/\"> <strong>Castel del Monte<\/strong><\/a>, a masterpiece of medieval architecture and the fourth World Heritage site of this edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the afternoon, the crews will move to <strong>Bari<\/strong>, for the <strong>Time Control of the final finish line <\/strong>along the seashore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for entering is<strong> 4:00 p.m. (CET) on Tuesday 18 March. Confirmation of acceptance will be given by Friday 21 March<\/strong>.
