With the start of the 2025\/2026 school year, the 1000 Miglia is ready to return to the classrooms of the schools in Brescia, and not only there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bell has in fact rung for the third edition of the project<\/strong> organised by Automobile Club Brescia and 1000 Miglia Srl, aimed at primary and secondary schools in Brescia and the areas along the race route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, which is completely free of charge, aims to introduce the younger generation to the history of the \u201cworld\u2019s unique travelling museum\u201d with a multimedia and interdisciplinary workshop, covering aspects related to sport, customs, art, literature and economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carried out in collaboration with the Brescia Local Education Authority, the initiative is open to the first thirty schools that express an interest. Each school can participate with an unlimited number of classes, and the activities in the schools will take place between October 2025 and March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ninety-one classes from the province of Brescia have already responded to the call, for a total of over 1,600 students. The first school involved will be the Lonati Anglo American School in Brescia on 14 October, with Professor Michele Speziani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe 1000 Miglia Goes to School initiative\u201d<\/a>, <\/em>said the President of the Automobile Club of Brescia, Cav. Aldo Bonomi, <\/em><\/strong>\u201crepresents much more than just an educational project for us: it is a concrete expression of our commitment to the younger generation and our desire to pass on a historical, cultural and value heritage that is deeply rooted in us. The 1000 Miglia is not only the most beautiful race in the world, but also a living testimony to Italian ingenuity, passion for motoring and love for the territory, and it is our duty to ensure that this heritage is known, understood and valued by young people too.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the body that owns the 1000 Miglia brand and as historical promoters of the Red Arrow, Automobile Club Brescia believes it is essential that the values associated with this epic journey \u2013 respect for the rules, road safety culture, team spirit, knowledge of automotive history and the excellence of our country \u2013 become part of school education. It is a way of combining roots and future, memory and innovation, civic education and sporting passion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration with 1000 Miglia Srl\u201d, <\/em>concluded Bonomi, \u201chas allowed AC Brescia to build a solid, widespread and engaging project, capable of reaching hundreds of students and teachers throughout the province and beyond. This is one of our highest missions: to cultivate curiosity and a sense of belonging among young people, offering them tools for knowledge that start from our past but look straight to the future\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy confirming the third edition of the project\u201d,<\/em> added Fulvio D\u2019Alvia, CEO of 1000 Miglia Srl,<\/em><\/strong> \u201cthe 1000 Miglia reaffirms its commitment to the younger generation. The involvement of schools in Brescia, the province and the towns that our race passes through on its long journey is intended to be a tool for knowledge and awareness given to young people: telling the story of the race in their own language, raising their awareness of the original values that the 1000 Miglia still represents today and actively involving them in workshops that embrace and integrate different points of view is a way of shedding new light on an event that, two years before its 100th<\/sup> anniversary, has been and continues to be part of our country\u2019s history and proudly represents it around the world\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are still many seats available at the 1000 Miglia knowledge tables, and Automobile Club Brescia and 1000 Miglia Srl are looking forward to seeing them filled with the curious faces of students from Brescia and, more generally, from all over Italy, who are essential protagonists in ensuring that the 1000 Miglia continues to be part of the shared intangible cultural heritage of the Belpaese<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
