Entries are now officially open for the Coppa delle Alpi 2026.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 12 to 15 March<\/strong> 2026,<\/strong> the magic of the 1000 Miglia winter race will return to enliven the landscapes of Europe\u2019s most fascinating mountains with a major change from previous editions: for the first time, the race will adopt a \u201cpetal\u201d format, starting and finishing in St. Moritz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the three days of racing, the crews will cover approximately 645 kilometres<\/strong> between Italy and Switzerland<\/strong>; there will be 90 Time Trials, 8 Average Trials, 10 Time Controls and 4 Passage Controls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the technical and administrative checks, the first leg of the race will take place entirely on the roads and picturesque landscapes of St. Moritz.<\/strong> The second day will take the crews across four famous Alpine passes: Bernina, Foscagno and Eira, before a lunch stop in Livigno<\/strong> and OfenPass immediately afterwards. Time Trials in Val Mustrair, on Lake Resia, and along the route of the Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz \u2013 Celerina, the only natural ice bobsleigh track in the world, will await the crews before their return to the pearl of the Engadin. The third and final leg will reach Arosa<\/strong>, in the heart of the picturesque canton of the Grisons. Before the grand finale in St. Moritz, the drivers will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience: boarding the Klosters Selfranga train with their cars, one of the few trains in the world that allows vehicles to be transported through spectacular mountain landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up for grabs are eight guaranteed entries to the 1000 Miglia 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for formalising entry is 4:00 pm on Tuesday 17 February 2026.<\/strong> A maximum of 60 cars built before 2000<\/strong> will be accepted at the start, and confirmation of acceptance will be communicated by 20 February.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
