The most beautiful race in the world will return to the roads of Italy from 9 to 13 June<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n

the five days of racing are confirmed for the fourth consecutive year; the \u201cfigure of eight\u201d route<\/strong> also returns, retracing the historic route of the first twelve editions of the 1000 Miglia speed race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per tradition, the week of the 1000 Miglia will kick off on the Sunday before the start, with two days dedicated to technical and administrative checks on the cars and initiatives that will enliven the heart of Brescia, a prelude to the official start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New for 2026: lunch on the first day will be \u201cduring the race\u201d: the 400 participating cars<\/strong> will set off in the late morning of Tuesday 9 June<\/strong> from the platform in Viale Venezia in Brescia<\/strong> and, crossing the Valle Trompia<\/strong> and Valle Gobbia<\/strong>, will reach Lumezzane<\/strong>, the location of the first lunch stop. Upon departure, the convoy will tackle the picturesque Passo del Cavallo, at an altitude of over 700 metres, before descending into Valle Sabbia<\/strong> and continuing towards Lake Garda and Vicenza<\/strong>, ending the first leg in Padua.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday 10 June<\/strong>, from Padua to Montecatini Terme<\/strong>, the journey will cross Italy from east to west<\/strong>: passing through Ferrara and Modena<\/strong>, where a lunch stop is planned, then continuing towards Reggio Emilia<\/strong> and the picturesque Abetone<\/strong> Pass, the day will end among the elegant Art Nouveau buildings of the Tuscan town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday 11 June<\/strong>, from Montecatini, the journey will continue towards Versilia and Pietrasanta<\/strong>, an international centre for art and sculpture, before reaching Siena<\/strong>, where the spectacular Piazza del Campo will welcome the crews for lunch. The route will continue along the lakes of Bolsena and Vico<\/strong> until the arrival in Rome<\/strong>, the traditional halfway point of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday 12 June<\/strong>, the journey north will take participants through Assisi<\/strong>, marking the eighth centenary of the death of St Francis, then on to Gubbio<\/strong>, for lunch, crossing the spectacular Furlo Gorge and reaching Rimini<\/strong>, the last leg before the final day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday 13 June<\/strong>, the race will leave the Adriatic coast, crossing the salt pans of Cervia and Comacchio<\/strong> before heading towards Ferrara and Mantua<\/strong>, where the last lunch of the race will be held. After approximately 140 Time Trials<\/strong>, the finish line on Viale Venezia<\/strong> in Brescia will mark the official end of the 1000 Miglia 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply for entry, cars must be in possession of the Registro 1000 Miglia<\/strong> certificate (or have applied for it at the time of entry; even in this case, admission is subject to obtaining the certificate). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for formalising entry is set at 4:00 p.m. (CET) on Thursday, 15 January 2026<\/strong>, while confirmation of acceptance<\/strong>, with the subsequent publication of the list of accepted cars, will be sent by 3 April<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
