This year, the event will be held in Puglia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n

Entries are now officially open for the 1000 Miglia Experience Italy 2026!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the success of the first edition, from 9 to 12 April<\/strong>, the format that brings the spirit of the Red Arrow to southern Italy returns, along routes that go beyond the traditional 1000 Miglia itineraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Puglia<\/strong> will be the setting for the event, ready to welcome the selected crews among breathtaking landscapes, historic villages and cities of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme includes 3 legs<\/strong> covering a total of about<\/strong> 705 km<\/strong>, starting from Bari<\/strong> and finishing in Taranto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday 9 April<\/strong>, the event will start from where it finished last year: Bari<\/strong>. The morning will be dedicated to technical and administrative checks<\/strong>; after lunch, the official start of the race will take the crews to Polignano a Mare<\/strong>, a town famous for its cliffs overlooking the sea and its historic centre perched above the water. Once again, this year, the hours of driving will be interspersed with pleasant stops and passages in the most representative places in the region. Confirming last year’s success, the first leg will offer the opportunity to visit the famous Trulli of Alberobello<\/strong>, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second leg, on Friday 10 April<\/strong>, will take participants to Ostuni<\/strong>, the first coffee break of the day. Here, participants will be able to visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the narrow streets of the historic centre of the \u201cWhite City\u201d. Lunch in Brindisi<\/strong> will precede the arrival in Lecce<\/strong>, the capital of Apulian Baroque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last leg, on Saturday 11 April<\/strong>, will take the crews first to Otranto, where there will be a guided tour, and then to Gallipoli, the \u201cPearl of the Ionian Sea\u201d, for lunch. In the afternoon, the race will reach Taranto<\/strong>, city of two seas, where the majestic Aragonese Castle<\/strong>, symbol of the city, will be the setting for dinner and the prize-giving ceremony. Two guarantees of acceptance to the Coppa delle Alpi 2027 are to be won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday 12 April<\/strong>, for those who wish to prolong the experience, there will be an optional guided tour of Grottaglie<\/strong>, renowned worldwide for its ceramics and its characteristic neighbourhood where shops and workshops line the streets between ancient kilns and art galleries displaying colourful ceramics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for formalising entry is 4:00 p.m. on Thursday 19 March.<\/strong> A maximum of 40 modern and classic cars <\/strong>will be accepted at the start, with priority given to cars manufactured up to 1990, and confirmation of acceptance will be communicated by 23 March.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
