Bolidi e Dimore: the winner is a 1948 Fiat 500 Sport

Prizes were awarded this morning, at the headquarters of the Automobile Club of Brescia, to the winners of Bolidi e Dimore. This event included the exhibition of fifty vintage cars in some of Brescia’s historic city centre buildings, on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June.

A jury of experts was tasked with choosing the three cars whose styles were most in keeping with the history and design of the architecture of the host buildings. Cavaliere Aldo Bonomi, President of AC Brescia, and Beatrice Saottini, President of 1000 Miglia Srl, presented the winner’s cup to Livio Colosio, owner of the 1948 Fiat 500 Sport Fenocchio 750 that was awarded by the judges. Second place went to Federico Moroni’s 1956 Maserati 200 SI, followed by Giuliano Bertolotti’s 1923 Bugatti T23.

Cav. Aldo Bonomi, President of AC Brescia: “The high level of appreciation by the many visitors, which last year had exceeded our expectations, was repeated again this year. This makes us happy to have contributed once again, through the Red Arrow and the passion for classic motoring, to enhance our Brescia”.

With Bolidi e Dimore, 1000 Miglia Srl and the Mille Miglia Franco Mazzotti Club aim to complete “the week of the Red Arrow” by contributing to making Brescia, with its fine buildings, “the City of the 1000 Miglia” more and more. The 2024 edition also had a special prologue on the morning of Saturday 8 June at the Spedali Civili di Brescia, with a visit to children hospitalised at the Paediatric Oncohematology Department and the Bone Marrow Transplant Centre. The event took place in collaboration with ABE, the Associazione Bambino Emopatico.
