In the context of the 2024 edition of the Coppa delle Alpi, 1000 Miglia presents the project “The Great Alpine Journey”, a path of reflection parallel to the race itinerary. This project aims to represent the socio-economic, anthropological and environmental transformations that characterise the Alpine territory in its cross-border dimension.

The #1000MigliaExperienceItaly2025 has ended, having taken the crews approximately 560 km from west to east across southern Italy, linking the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts.
Among the unrivalled landscapes of the places they drove through, the drivers challenged each other in exciting sporting activities.

Si è conclusa #1000MigliaExperienceItaly2025 che ha portato gli equipaggi a percorrere circa 560km da Ovest a Est attraverso il Sud Italia, unendo la costa tirrenica a quella adriatica.
Tra i paesaggi ineguagliabili delle località attraversate, i driver si sono sfidati in avvincenti attività sportive.

The last few kilometres of the race before arriving in the Apulian capital saw the crews pass a Passage Control and visit the last Unesco site crossed by the race: Castel del Monte 🏰
In Bari, the crews took part in the final Time Control, which marked the end of the first edition of the #1000MigliaExperienceItaly 🏁

After the Passage Control at the Military Airport of Gioia del Colle, the crews opened the first sector of the race with an Average Trial that took them from Noci to Alberobello, the third World Heritage Site of this edition ✅
After visiting the Trulli, the cars headed towards this year`s novelty: the Time Trials on the track 🏎️ 🔜

Dopo il Controllo Timbro all’Aeroporto Militare di Gioia del Colle, gli equipaggi hanno aperto il primo settore di gara con una Prova di Media che da Noci li ha portati ad Alberobello, terzo sito Patrimonio dell’umanità di questa edizione ✅
Dopo la visita ai Trulli, le auto si sono dirette verso la novità di quest’anno: le Prove Cronometrate in pista 🏎️ 🔜

The first race sector continued with the Average Trial along the Sele River and the Time Trials in Sicignano degli Alburni 🚗 from where the last Average Trial of the morning started, taking the crews to Petina, a picturesque village of medieval origin that stands on the slopes of the Alburni mountains ⛰️
After leaving Campania, the cars in the race reached Basilicata for a challenging sector of the race 💪🏻:

Il primo settore di gara è proseguito con la Prova di Media lungo il Fiume Sele e le Prove Cronometrate a Sicignano degli Alburni 🚗 da dove è partita l’ultima Prova di Media della mattinata che ha portato gli equipaggi a Petina, pittoresco borgo di origine medievale che sorge sulle pendici dei monti Alburni ⛰️
Lasciata la Campania, le auto in gara hanno raggiunto la Basilicata per un settore di gara impegnativo 💪🏻:

The first timekeeper that started the race taken from Piazza Andrea Veniero in Sorrento ⏱
315 km is the distance that the driver and co-driver are travelling on this first leg 🔛
Having taken the SS 145, following the southern coast of the Gulf of Naples, the convoy crossed Positano and Amalfi, two of the most renowned locations on the Amalfi Coast, already recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoying the enchanting and inimitable view of the sea 🌊
Passage Control at the Automobile Club of Salerno before reaching the Port of Marina D`Arechi, which hosted the first series of Time Trials of the day.

Imboccata la statale 145, seguendo la costa meridionale del Golfo di Napoli, il convoglio ha attraversato Positano e Amalfi, due tra le località più rinomate della Costiera Amalfitana, già riconosciuta Patrimonio Mondiale Unesco, godendo della suggestiva e inimitabile vista sul mare 🌊
Controllo Timbro all’Automobile Club di Salerno prima di raggiungere il Porto di Marina D’Arechi che ha ospitato la prima serie di Prove Cronometrate di giornata.
