Since its inception, the 1000 Miglia has embodied the bold, innovative and pioneering spirit that has made the race unique and its brand, the historic Red Arrow, unmistakable. Today, 1000 Miglia wants to continue to renew and innovate, driven by major objectives such as protecting the heritage of the Red Arrow and extending its reputation to become an icon of Italian excellence.
This evolution is based on an essential principle: responsibility. Responsibility towards the city of Brescia, the cradle of the event, towards the territories it passes through and towards the people and communities that gravitate around the 1000 Miglia universe.
With this in mind, every year the Company promotes various Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, ranging from support for solidarity and health projects to the promotion of culture, education and environmental sustainability.
Among these, the Sustainability Project is particularly noteworthy, reflecting 1000 Miglia S.r.l.’s commitment to addressing contemporary challenges related to sustainable development. The Company has embarked on a structured process to measure, reduce and offset its emissions, with the aim of making events increasingly environmentally friendly.
Alongside this, 1000 Miglia continues to promote Charity initiatives in favour of organisations and projects dedicated to people’s health and well-being, confirming its desire to “do good” and thus strengthening its bond with the community and the values of solidarity that have always accompanied its history.
Furthermore, with the project “The 1000 Miglia goes to school”, 1000 Miglia brings its history and values into the classroom through educational and outreach initiatives, with the aim of passing on to the younger generation the passion, culture and spirit that make the Red Arrow an authentic Italian heritage.
Finally, “1000 Storie” is an initiative that aims to promote the involvement of members of the Technical Support Convoy – race start and race end, mechanical assistance and reference cars for distance and order within the convoy – in initiatives of social interest, through a free and supportive gesture aimed at bringing the spirit of the 1000 Miglia to people in vulnerable conditions.
