THE 1000 MIGLIA ON THE ABETONE PASS TOWARDS PARMA

After lunch, the crews left the Siena province, crossing the Val d’Elsa to head towards the land of Leonardo, passing through Vinci, with Time Trials and Passage Control in Piazza della Libertà.

Once arriving in Emilia territory, the crews will enter a series of characteristic Frignano villages that will precede the last Time Trials of the day in Formigine before passing through the centre of Modena, the beating heart of Motor Valley. After the last stop & go of the day at the Passage Control in Reggio Emilia, it will finally be the turn of the finish line in Piazza Garibaldi in Parma, site of the last Time Control of the day.

Vesco and Salvinelli continue to lead the classification, followed by Fontanella-Covelli and Turelli-Turelli. Aliverti and Valente, who already knew after the morning Trials that they had lost ground, slipped to fifth place. The classification of the Green sees Lohr and Spencer in first place, ahead of Pillas-Meng and Millerfelli-Vitale. Among the Ferraris, Bachmann and Vella are in the lead, followed by Becchetti-Binkert and Ferrari-Catania.
