Upcoming 1000 Miglia events in the USA presented in Miami

 As part of the Italian National Day organised by the Consulate General of Italy for Italian Republic Day, and in the presence of Consul General Michele Mistò, the Biltmore Hotel Country Club in Coral Gables, Miami, hosted the presentation of the future programmes of the Most Beautiful Race in the World: in autumn the Warm UP USA and next winter (22 to 25 February 2025) Experience Florida.

Currently in its fifth year, the 1000 Miglia Warm UP USA is the event that, scheduled from 22 to 27 October in Middleburg, Virginia, will offer a limited number of crews the opportunity to get prepared in the best possible way for the Race that takes place in Italy. Offering 5-star hospitality at the Salamander Resort & SPA, the event will pass through the hills and vineyards of Virginia and West Virginia, the exclusivity of the Congressional Country Club in Maryland, the Summit Point circuit, the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park before arriving on Italian soil at the Italian Embassy in downtown Washington, D.C.

The first edition of the 1000 Miglia Experience Florida will kick off on 22 February from Miami, the format that launches official 1000 Miglia style events to allow fans of the Red Arrow to learn and deepen their knowledge of the rules that distinguish it, savouring its atmosphere in exclusive settings and tailor-made formats. After the start from Magic City, the route will wind its way through the Everglades National Park and the Big Cypress nature reserve to Naples and then head north, crossing Sanibel Island, Fort Myers, Venice, Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Tampa, continuing on to Brooksville, Orlando and Cape Canaveral. Continuing south to West Palm Beach via the iconic A1A, the final finish line in Miami promises to be impressive with one of the city’s iconic landmarks welcoming the arrival.

There will be two classes of cars accepted for both events: 1000 Miglia Era (specimens built between 1927 and 1957) and Post 1000 Miglia Era (1958 to today). For the first two classified in the different categories, 8 guarantees of acceptance to the 1000 Miglia 2025 at the Warm Up USA will be up for grabs. For the winners of the Experience, the acceptance guarantees will be for 1000 Miglia 2026.
