Back for the third year running, in its fifth edition, 1000 Miglia Warm Up USA took place from 22 to 27 October around Middleburg. After a day of training on the techniques of Italian regularity racing at the Summit Point Motorsports Park circuit, the crews competed in the Coppa USA, an 800 km competition in full 1000 Miglia style.
The crews would be divided into two types, Veteran in the case where at least one of the two drivers entered has taken part in at least two 1000 Miglia or Ferrari Tribute 1000 Miglia races, and Novice in the case where both drivers of the crew have taken part in at least one 1000 Miglia (or Ferrari Tribute). 20 cars were accepted for the competition, divided into the following classes: 1000 Miglia Era and Post 1000 Miglia Era. The former includes car models that took part in the 1000 Miglia between 1927 and 1957, the latter includes sports cars, Gran Turismo, or Supercars built from 1958 to the present day. The cars must be in their original configuration, i.e. the one supplied by the manufacturer. Cars produced before 1957 which are of high historical and/or sporting interest, even if they have never been entered in the Historic 1000 Miglia, entered in a Guest List and were part of the 1000 Miglia Era class.
As per the regulations, 6 guarantees of acceptance to the 1000 Miglia 2025 are up for grabs.
