Participants enjoyed an all-round experience, combining a passion for motor racing with the discovery of the Austrian territory rich in tradition and natural beauty.
Starting in Salzburg, the event dedicated a first day to training and practice on the Salzburgring circuit, in preparation for the race that started the following day through the beauty of Salzburg and Tyrol.
A limited number of cars took part in the competition, divided into the 1000 Miglia Era and Post 1000 Miglia Era classes. The former includes car models that participated in the 1000 Miglia between 1927 and 1957, the latter includes Sports and Grand Touring cars built from 1958 to the present. Models produced before 1957 that are of high historical and/or sporting interest, even if they have never been entered in the Historic 1000 Miglia, had been included in a Guest List.
