Leonardo is Security Partner of 1000 Miglia also for the 2021 edition.
Creativity, innovation and the charm of a glorious tradition: these are the values that represent the most beautiful race in the world, the 1000 Miglia, which will take place from 22nd to 25th October between Brescia and Rome. Values that will animate the re-enactment of the historic race held from 1927 to 1957, now at its 38th edition, and in which Leonardo, fully recognizes itself.
Leonardo wants to bring once again its integrated vision of security to an event that represents the Italian spirit in the world as well as its support for an effective, safe and resilient management of the 1000 Miglia.
Since it is a travelling competition, Leonardo will be on watch along the entire route using its skills, technologies and mobile applications in the field of secure professional communication systems, for the benefit of effective, coordinated and timely cooperation in the personnel and means area.
Furthermore, for the first time, Leonardo will offer Cyber Security activities this year: thanks to the excellence of the Global Security Operation Center in Chieti, reports will be provided of intelligence and analysis on the vulnerability to cyber attacks of the web domains and official email domains of the 1000 Miglia organization.
Leonardo has long been committed to the security of major events – Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, EXPO 2015, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, up to the World Ski Championships Cortina 2021 – and protects national and international public and private critical infrastructures using its security and communication solutions and equipment.
Leonardo solutions, contributing to the security of the event, will improve the quality of the experience for participants, public and local communities.
