The Fassina Group was founded on 1982 when Tony Fassina, on the verge of retiring from sporting competition (he won two Italian Championships and one European Rally Championship) took over the Fiat dealership in Vittorio Veneto (Treviso), entering the car sales sector. The early 1980s were marked by a whirlwind development that led the dealership, in 1989, to be the third in Italy for number of new cars sold. In 1997, the most ambitious challenge began: the group took over the historic branch in Via Arona 15 in Milan from Fiat Auto Spa.  The historic brands Alfa Romeo Rotondi, Lancia Saicar and Fiat Saigarage also became part of the group, starting the expansion in the Lombard capital: Volvo Sweden Car, Chrysler Syncro Car Service, Land Rover Comar and Jaguar British Racing Green were acquired. In 2003, the historic headquarters called Car Village was acquired: over 50,000 square metres dedicated to cars, the largest and most prestigious showroom in Milan. In 2011 the Audi brand also became part of the Group with the opening of the Audi Forza Quattro dealership in Conegliano (TV), followed in 2018 by the Muzzatti dealership in Pordenone, in 2019 by the Audi Zentrum in Treviso and in 2020 by the Audi Motorclass dealerships in Venice and Portogruaro. The prestigious McLaren and Bentley brands chose the group as their exclusive distributor for Italy in 2010 and 2015 respectively, further enriching the already vast offer that today generates an aggregate turnover of over 300 million.
