Mille Miglia goes to Geneva

Mille Miglia introduces itself to the world.

The 1000 Miglia of 2013 race will now be made up of 400 remarkable automobiles. By enlarging the number of participating vehicles, it aims to have an even greater impact at a global level. At the Geneva Motor Show there are plenty of new things being presented, always keeping an eye on cars: the real stars of the event.

“We have decided to place 25 cars on a special list, in order to enrich the already high standard of cars at the starting line – says Roberto Gaburri, 1000 Miglia President. They are extraordinary vehicles that will win over the public but will not be part of the final classification. We are proud to have 130 pre-war automobiles taking part, even more than last year”.

This year we even have an increase in the number of automobiles taking part that have already participated in a historical MM race. Those automobile gems of MM history have gone up from 58 to 76 cars.
Among the very important individuals scheduled to race, we have Matteo Marzotto and Sebastian Coe and expect other notable drivers to join. These outstanding “pilots”, very well known to car enthusiasts, will be unveiled in the upcoming weeks.
