Press release

Mac Group has not been asked to “support” the organization of Mille Miglia’s 2013

The Brescia Automobile and 1000 Miglia Srl wish to advise you of several inaccuracies contained in Mac Group Srl’s press release of January 21, 2013.

Mac Group has not been asked to “support” the organization of Mille Miglia’s 2013 historical reenactment in any way nor have they been requested to “collaborate with the Mille Miglia in finding sponsors” or “act as a guarantor or supervisor of third party activities”.

Considering that none of the above services have been requested, MAC Group Srl has not had the opportunity to deny our proposal. In actuality, the Mille Miglia and the Brescia Automobile Club have in fact made no proposals to Mac Group Srl.

We do wish to clarify however, that MAC Group Srl was indeed invited by 1000 Miglia Srl to submit a bid within the framework of a public tender process for a sub-project pertaining to the management of a number of services relative to the organization of the Mille Miglia 2013. Their offer was taken into account by 1000 Miglia Srl and subsequently rejected in favor of a different alternative, thus guaranteeing the highest level of service for the event participants. The Brescia Automobile Club and 1000 Miglia Srl would like to advise all that legal proceedings have been initiated in the appropriate courts of law in order to protect our interests against unfounded claims that could damage our image as well as our institutional and commercial interests.
