Great success for the 1000 Miglia Charity project 2019

The 1000 Miglia Gala Charity Dinner organized by 1000 Miglia in collaboration with and in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation – Non-Profit Organization – was held on Monday May 13th, in the splendid setting of the Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia.

The gala evening was presented by Paolo Kessisoglu, actor, comedian and TV host of the duo Luca and Paolo. Filippo Lotti, General Manager of Sotheby’s Italy, conducted the charity auction in favor of the Laureus Italia Non Profit Foundation, committed to supporting disadvantaged children and young people, using sport as a therapeutic tool.

Thanks to the generosity of the guests there, a total of 64,000 Euros was collected, part of which will be donated to the Association La Zebra Non-Profit Organization in support of the Brescia Hospital, in continuity with the 1000 Miglia Charity project of the Freccia Rossa’s last edition.

The dinner, signed by Chef Philippe Léveillé from the Michelin starred restaurant, Miramonti l’altro, and enlivened by the performance of the cheerful group The London Essentials, was attended by well-known TV faces such as Pier Luigi Pardo, sports journalist of Mediaset, and the actor Massimo Boldi, and exponents of the world of haute cuisine, like Davide Oldani, Michelin starred chef among the 50 ambassadors of Italian cuisine in the world.

Some of the sponsors of the 1000 Miglia 2019 contributed to the success of the project such as Chopard, Mercedes-Benz, Deutsche Bank, Consorzio Franciacorta, Perlage, Villa Trasqua and Rubinetterie Bresciane Bonomi. Our thanks also go to the many friends who have supported the noble cause of the Red Arrow: Ambrosi, Dallara, Fabbrica d’Armi P.
