Great success for the 1000 Passi per Brescia

The seventh edition of the ‘1000 Passi per Brescia’, a non-competitive running race devised with the aim to raise funds for the Ethiopian Non-Profit Aid Center Organization, has given excellent results both in terms of participation and economic outcome.

The run-walk, held on May 17th during the thirty-seventh historical re-enactment of the “most beautiful race in the world” and supported by 1000 Miglia srl, this year registered 1.897 applications for a total proceeds of 18.615 Euros.

The funds raised will be donated to the Ethiopia Non-Profit Aid Center Organization with the aim to finance a clean and safe water distribution network, serving 15.000 Gumuz distributed throughout 5 villages in the Wolkitè area in Ethiopia, thus contributing to the reduction of diseases related to use of contaminated water.
