The 1000 Miglia 2019 has taken off!

The 430 cars of the Freccia Rossa took off at 2:30 pm from Viale Venezia heading towards Desenzano, to then proceed towards Sirmione, the Parco Giardino Sigurtà of Valeggio sul Mincio, Mantua, Ferrara, and then Comacchio and Ravenna to reach Cervia-Milano Marittima in the evening.

The public, composed of curious onlookers and passionate fans, turned out in force along the roads travelled by the classic cars, protagonists of the 37th historic re-enactment of the “most beautiful race in the world”. Of great fascination the passage, just before the beginning, of the Frecce Tricolori flying over the city of Brescia.

The most represented auto manufacturer at the race is Alfa Romeo, with 44 cars, followed by Jaguar with 35, Fiat with 33 and Mercedes-Benz and Lancia with 29. The most represented country continues to be Italy, with 303 crews (34% percent of the registered participants). The Netherlands come in second place with 133 citizens (133 Netherlands, 52 Belgians, 12 from Luxembourg), followed by Germany with 86 partecipants and the UK with 74 partecipants.
