The Aghem-Conti crew wins the first 1000 Miglia Green

he crew from Moncalieri (Turin) made up of GianMaria Aghem and Rossella Conti, won the first edition of the 1000 Miglia Green, driving a Tesla Model 3 Performance, with the race number 25.

Behind the favourites, the Renault ZOE arrived second, driven by the crew De Angelis-Del Gaudio from Orte, Viterbo. The third position was obtained by the Mercedes Benz EQC, driven by the Paduan journalist Savina Confaloni together with the Roman co-driver Francesco Meneghini.

The 35 crews from 5 different European countries (Italy, Germany, France, Holland and Sweden), turned on their silent engines on Friday 27th September in the centre of Brescia and arrived today, Sunday 29th, at the Lainate racetrack (Milan) after having passed through Franciacorta, Bergamo and the workers’ village of Crespi D’Adda, where the cars stopped to charge their batteries.

Great interest and response from the public also in Milan, where the cars arrived last night in Piazza Gae Aulenti and left this morning, passing through some of the most symbolic places of Italy’s economic capital. The 1000 Miglia Green convoy brought together the history and future of electric and sustainable mobility through unique models such as the 1924 La Detroit Electric Model 95 – the oldest car – along with the ultra-modern Tesla, Porsche Panamera E 4 Hybrid, Mercedes EQC, Smart, Mini, Hyundai, Nissan, Polestar and many others.
