1000 MIGLIA 2022 PRESENTED AT PALAZZO LOGGIA

After two years in which the traditional opening conference for 1000 Miglia was affected by the emergency of the period, the presentation of the 2022 edition finally brought the public and the press back to the venue. The Mayor of Brescia, Emilio Del Bono, re-opened the doors of the Salone Vanvitelliano to unveil the final details of the edition starting Wednesday that will also feature the return of the Gaburri Trophy, a pre-race warm-up now in its 5th year.

At 13:30 on June 15, the first of the 425 competing cars will leave the Viale Venezia platform to begin the almost 2,000-kilometer route that will cross through more than 250 Italian municipalities over four days.

After the 2021 edition, with the anti-clockwise route inspired by the pre-war 1000 Miglia, the race will return to the route that characterized the 1947 and 1948 editions, the subsequent editions from 1950 to 1957 as well as thirty-eight out of thirty-nine historic re-enactments.

After legs in Cervia-Milano Marittima, Rome and Parma, the cars will return to Brescia on Saturday, June 18, at about 16:30.

Also in the 2022 edition, the vintage cars of the 1000 Miglia will be joined by the electric cars of the 1000 Miglia Green, the modern Supercars of the 1000 Miglia Experience, and the Ferrari Tribute examples, wonderful models of the Prancing Horse.
