Sorrento Roads by 1000 Miglia: victory for Facchini-Olivetti

On Sunday 10 April, the first edition of Sorrento Roads by 1000 Miglia, the new format of the Freccia Rossa, which offers a mix of sporting activities, incomparable views and the exquisite hospitality of the Sorrento Peninsula, ended.

First place went to Facchini-Olivetti with the 1956 MG A who also won two “Sorrento Roads” limited edition Chopard watches and the guarantee of acceptance to Coppa delle Alpi 2023; in second place Boglioli-Pezzia with the 1952 O.S.C.A. MT 4 1100 followed by Bonomi-Codini with the 1955 Porsche 356 1500 Speedster.

The head-to-head knockout regularity competition saw the Ricco-Molteni crew on board the 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider 1600 ‘Duetto’ win the Trofeo Città di Sorrento.

Boglioli-Caraffini’s 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spider Scaglietti was awarded the Sorrento Municipality Popular Jury Prize.

Over the three-day period, many exclusive experiences alternated with the regularity race: from the round table events-tourism-Pnrr organised by BPER Banca and the Municipality of Sorrento to the gastronomic itinerary among citrus fruits, cheese and ice cream in the historic centre of Sorrento.
