The 1000 Miglia 2022 has officially begun. The first of the 425 historic cars left the Viale Venezia platform to start the first leg, which will go from Brescia to Cervia-Milano Marittima. The first leg is scheduled to finish at 22:30. Three regions will be crossed: Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.
The more than 2,000-kilometer route returns in its traditional, clockwise direction. After reaching Cervia-Milano Marittima, the cars will depart for Rome. Then the ascent with the Parma leg and return to Brescia on Saturday afternoon, June 18.
In addition to the convoy of historic cars, this edition also sees the participation of cars from the House of the Prancing Horse, in the Ferrari Tribute 2022, which started from Desenzano del Garda. Also underway are the 1000 Miglia Green, the first regularity race for alternative fuel cars, and the 1000 Miglia Experience, the format for modern Supercars.
