In the second part of the day, the route left Italy and returned to Switzerland along the Via della Val, skirting the shores of Lake Livigno and crossing the spectacular Punt dal Gall arch dam. Just beyond the border, the route reached Müstair, a town famous for the Monastery of St. Johann, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, where the second Passage Control was located.
