BRIXEN, THE CITY WHERE THE THIRD LEG WILL COME TO AN END

The third leg of the Coppa delle Alpi 2023 finished in the central square of Brixen, at the foot of the imposing Baroque cathedral, famous for its frescoes.

The race day, which saw the crews cross the spectacular Val Pusteria, Valle di Lando, Val Badia, Val Gardena and Valle Isarco, was as challenging for the competitors as it was rich in natural beauty; imbued with an atmosphere made even more magical by the snow-covered landscapes.

This was confirmed by Joseph and Margot Calabrese of crew n. 48. Getting out of their 1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint for lunch break at Lake Misurina, they spoke enthusiastically about having come from Los Angeles for their first regularity race: “it’s unbelievable that only yesterday we passed through four different countries – said Margot – we are having a wonderful time and the places are incredible”.
