The 1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2023 kicks off

The second edition of the 1000 Miglia Experience Uae has kicked off. After the first day of training on the spectacular Meydan Racecourse ring, where the sound of the four-wheeled gems took the place of royal four-legged thoroughbreds, the race got underway. More than one hundred historic cars and modern supercars will be competing. Among the old legends are the 1930 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GT, the 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS “Aprile”, the prestigious 1939 Bugatti T57 Stelvio and two golden fleets, with 11 Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing and 5 Ferrari Dino. Among the modern cars, one has to mention the 2008 Bugatti Veryron and the 2 McLarens, a 2019 720 S and a 2023 Artura.

The blazing sun during the day and the spectacle of lights in the Dubai evening that concluded the celebrations for the UAE’s first 52 years of existence accompanied the crews in the sessions to check and fine-tune the cars, set up the instruments and review the rules of regularity.

From today, and for the next four days, the race will cross the seven Emirates until it crosses into Oman, a territory of evocative and still little explored panoramas, to conclude on Thursday in Abu Dhabi with a parade on the Yas Marina circuit, the most recent final leg of the Formula 1 championship.
