1000 MIGLIA CHARITY 2025: GOAL ACHIEVED!

A successful ending for the 1000 Miglia Charity 2025: the purchase of a latest-generation ultrasound scanner has been finalised with the presentation of the Supersonic MACH30 V4.2, a device that represents a significant advance in ultrasound technology and enriches the technological equipment available to the Paediatric Radiology Department of the ASST Spedali Civili Hospital in Brescia.

The first installation of its kind in a paediatric setting worldwide, the device arrived at the city hospital thanks to a donation from La Zebra ODV, an association that carries out projects for paediatrics and which, in the months leading up to the race, raised funds through numerous activities, culminating in its participation in the 1000 Miglia, raising awareness amongst the participants and the public encountered along the race route.

In an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and satisfaction for the enormous help that the “Supersonic MACH30 V4.2” will provide in the field of diagnostics, the General Manager of the ASST Spedali Civili Hospital in Brescia, Luigi Caiazzo, Dr. Maria Pia Bondioni, Director of Paediatric Radiology, Aldo Bonomi, President of AC Brescia, and Beatrice Saottini, President of 1000 Miglia, officially launched the use of the device equipped with a platform that, thanks to artificial intelligence and ultrafast share wave technology (which increases imaging frame rates up to 20,000 frames per second), offers a combination of speed and resolution that significantly improves image quality and the resulting effectiveness of diagnosis.
