One Saturday ninety-eight years ago, at 8:00 in the morning, the legend of the 1000 Miglia was born. It was 26 March 1927 and the roar of the Isotta Fraschini driven by Aymo Maggi and Bindo Maserati had just signalled the start of the first edition of what would soon be known by all as the most beautiful race in the world.
Today, ninety-eight years later, we celebrate almost a century of the Red Arrow, which from the beginning has not only been the symbol of a race, but of an Italian legend, an expression of audacity, innovation and pioneering spirit.
Over time, the legend has evolved, giving rise to new events that preserve its legacy and amplify its charm, both in Italy and abroad. It is the story of a part of Italy that embodies craftsmanship, innovation and tradition.
In 2024, fourteen 1000 Miglia events were organised in Italy and around the world, involving more than 900 cars along 20,000 kilometres of routes, with the participation of almost 1000 crews from over 40 countries.
The story continues… in the meantime, 98 times congratulations, 1000 Miglia!

The #1000MigliaExperienceItaly2025 has ended, having taken the crews approximately 560 km from west to east across southern Italy, linking the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts.
Among the unrivalled landscapes of the places they drove through, the drivers challenged each other in exciting sporting activities.

Si è conclusa #1000MigliaExperienceItaly2025 che ha portato gli equipaggi a percorrere circa 560km da Ovest a Est attraverso il Sud Italia, unendo la costa tirrenica a quella adriatica.

The first race sector continued with the Average Trial along the Sele River and the Time Trials in Sicignano degli Alburni 🚗 from where the last Average Trial of the morning started, taking the crews to Petina, a picturesque village of medieval origin that stands on the slopes of the Alburni mountains ⛰️
After leaving Campania, the cars in the race reached Basilicata for a challenging sector of the race 💪🏻:

Having taken the SS 145, following the southern coast of the Gulf of Naples, the convoy crossed Positano and Amalfi, two of the most renowned locations on the Amalfi Coast, already recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoying the enchanting and inimitable view of the sea 🌊
Passage Control at the Automobile Club of Salerno before reaching the Port of Marina D`Arechi, which hosted the first series of Time Trials of the day.
