A large audience gathered to celebrate the history of the Automobile Club Brescia

The presentation of the book dedicated to the origins and history of the Automobile Club Brescia took place yesterday, Wednesday 26 November, at the Borsoni Theatre in Brescia. The evening, conducted by the journalist Maria Leitner, took the audience on a journey through more than a century of passion, innovation and automotive culture that have profoundly marked the identity of the city and Italian motoring.

The event was opened with an institutional greeting from the President of the Automobile Club Brescia, Aldo Bonomi, the Deputy Mayor of Brescia Federico Manzoni, the provincial councillor Paolo Fontana e il Vice President of the Regional Councilor Emilio Del Bono.

The two authors of the book, “L’Automobile Club Brescia. Sport, società e costume nella città della 1000 Miglia”Prof. Elena Pala and Prof. Roberto Chiarini, interviewed by journalist and essayist Paolo Mieli, then retraced the fundamental stages of the Body, focusing on episodes, protagonists and turning points that defined its role in the growth of automotive culture in Brescia and Italy.

The evening ended with an extract of the play Andavamo a Mille, staged by Gioele Dix, who captivated and thrilled the audience with a fun and passionate performance dedicated to the world of motoring.
