The Italian Army and 1000 Miglia together at the Piazza di Siena equestrian competition

In the evocative setting of Villa Borghese, on the occasion of the 92nd edition of the CSIO in Rome – Piazza di Siena, a prestigious international show jumping competition, the Italian Army, in collaboration with 1000 Miglia, exhibited three authentic jewels of the national motoring tradition: the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS “Zagato” from 1929, the Lancia Aprilia Berlina 2nd Series from 1939 and the FIAT AR 51 “Campagnola” from 1951.

These cars, symbols of an era and a unique cultural heritage, will be present at the 2025 edition of the 1000 Miglia, which will start from Brescia on 17 June.

The collaboration with the Italian Army represents much more than a simple synergy for 1000 Miglia: it is a shared project to showcase Italian excellence, proudly highlighting the history, style and values that make our country unique. A concrete commitment to the protection and dissemination of our national sporting and cultural heritage.
