THE POLISH TEAM MOSCICKI-JUSZCZYK WINS THE FOURTH EDITION OF THE 1000 MIGLIA EXPERIENCE UAE

An edition full of breathtaking scenery between the United Arab Emirates and Oman

Artur Moscicki and Mariuz Juszczyk took the victory at the wheel of their 1974 BMW 3.0 Cs Coupé. Second place on the podium in Dubai went to the American crew of Jeffrey Gault and Raffaele Conti, in a 1953 Lincoln Capri. Third place went to the Saudis Adnan Nouh and Zyad Al Arfaj in their 1975 Porsche Carrera MFI.

After a first day dedicated to the administrative and technical checks and a training session, the more than 100 crews set off on 1 December from the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, one of the most prestigious golf courses in the Emirates. The cars in the race then reached Hatta Fort, in the mountainous area known for its rocky landscapes, and ended the leg in Ras Al Khaimah, an emirate renowned for its pristine beaches and a hinterland rich in historic fortresses.

The second day featured a series of Time Trials at the Aeroclub, followed by the spectacular climb to Jabel Jais Mountain. At almost 2,000 metres, it is the highest peak in the United Arab Emirates and offers some of the most breathtaking views in the region. The route continued through Oman, covering one of the most iconic coastal stretches of the fourth edition.

On Wednesday 3 December, the race crossed the Emirate of Fujairah, the only one of the Emirates that faces entirely onto the Gulf of Oman. Known for its Hajar Mountains and the quietest beaches in the federation, Fujairah offered a pleasant and scenic passage before arriving in Abu Dhabi, the modern and cultural capital of the Emirates.

On the fourth and final day, after a series of Time Trials along a dragstrip in the middle of the desert and at the Dubai Autodrome — two symbols of the local passion for motorsport — the crews crossed the finish line under the spectacular arch of the Dubai International Financial Centre. The event ended with the Prize-Giving Ceremony at the Emirates Towers, on the terrace overlooking the futuristic Museum of the Future.
