Once again today, the sun glinting off the Adriatic Sea marked the start of the 54 crews taking part in the 1000 Miglia Experience Italy 2026. The Polignano seafront was the perfect setting for the start of the second leg towards Ostuni, and along the route there was time for the day’s first Average Trial at the picturesque Belvedere del Cristo della Panoramica.
Upon reaching the “Città Bianca” and passing the time control in Piazza della Libertà, the participants took part in the Experience through the characteristic narrow streets of the historic centre. A moment of discovery and beauty, before returning to the cars parked in the shade of the majestic column of Sant’Oronzo to resume the drive towards Brindisi.
