A day of sharing, ideas and discussion: on Friday 9 October, 1000 Miglia Srl brought together its network of partners in Florence for the 1000 Miglia & Partners event. It was a day of meetings designed to foster dialogue and strengthen synergies with the organisations that, day after day, journey alongside the Red Arrow.
The backdrop to the event was the city of Florence. In particular, the striking architecture of the Tepidarium del Roster, an extraordinary monumental iron and glass greenhouse dating from 1880, which has recently been returned to the public following a meticulous restoration. Pleasant weather allowed guests to begin the day with a photographic tour through the greenery of the Giardino dell’Orticoltura and amongst the vintage cars on display for the occasion, retracing the most iconic chapters of the race.
The event then got underway with welcoming remarks from the Mayor of Florence, Sara Funaro, and the President of the Automobile Club of Brescia, Aldo Bonomi. The convivial lunch and subsequent panel discussions, held inside the venue, featured round-table discussions focusing on the value of heritage, experiential marketing and the prospects for promoting automotive heritage. Moderated by Fabio Tavelli, the stage was taken in turn by the senior management of 1000 Miglia Srl – President Beatrice Saottini, CEO Fulvio D’Alvia and COO Francesca Parolin – alongside contributions from leading partners such as Chopard, with General Manager Simona Zito, Barovier & Toso, with CEO Andrea Signoroni, AssetClassic, with CEO Camillo Mekacher-Vogel and Roarington, with CMO Mario Fäh.
The event concluded with a relaxed and enjoyable open discussion amongst the participants, reaffirming the true essence of the Red Arrow: a community united by passion and the desire to build the future together, drawing on the legacy of history.
