Montecatini Terme, 11 June 2026 – The third day of the 1000 Miglia 2026 set off this morning at 6.30 am from a cool and gloomy Montecatini Terme, leaving the Tennis Torretta area to begin the picturesque drive towards the Italian capital.
At the start, the classification confirmed the thrilling battle at the top between Juan and Margarita Tonconogy, and Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli. The Argentine crew has in fact managed to overtake the multiple champions from Brescia to take first place. Lorenzo and Mario Turelli remain in third place.
After the Time Trials on the historic walls of Lucca and the Passage Control in Piazza del Giglio, the convoy will head towards the coast, carrying out a Passage Control in Pietrasanta before setting course for Pisa. Here, the competitors will parade in front of the iconic Tower before the Time Control in the monumental Piazza dei Cavalieri. Crossing the Tuscan hills and following the Stamps at Pontedera and Peccioli, the rally will reach one of the route’s most iconic destinations: Siena. The spectacular line-up of cars will be hosted in the magnificent setting of Piazza del Campo, just a short walk from the lunch venue, held beneath the historic structure of the Tartarugone.
