La 1000 Miglia va a scuola – 2024
“La 1000 Miglia va a scuola” is the project that 1000 Miglia Srl and the Automobile Club of Brescia have decided to propose to schools of all levels in the city of Brescia and its province. The initiative, sponsored by the Province of Brescia, will consist of a series of one-hour lessons in which Elena Pala, lecturer in Contemporary History at the University of Milan, will talk to students about the influence that the 1000 Miglia has had on the modernisation of many sectors (motor racing and infrastructure in primis, but also industry, technology, art, customs and tourism); and in the symbolic unification of post-war Italy, as well as having embodied one of the emblems of the national revival that preceded the economic miracle.
The aim is to acquaint the new generations with the history and path that led the Red Arrow to become a symbol of Italian excellence in the world, while maintaining intact the bold and innovative spirit that has distinguished it since its origins.
