With departure from and arrival in Brescia, the 2021 edition of the 1000 Miglia Green will follow the official route of the 39th re-enactment of the historical Red Arrow race, giving participants the exceptional opportunity to live the experience and excitement of the most beautiful race in the world alongside vintage cars, passing through the most enchanting Italian territories and promoting the concept of alternative mobility in a unique context.
The 1000 Miglia Green 2021 is therefore a unique challenge: covering the entire route of the historical Race on board electric cars, maintaining times consistent with the different power requirements, respecting the time control points provided to finish the leg within the indicated schedule and enjoy the 1000 Miglia finish line platform and stage.
The results of 1000 Miglia Green 2021
The Estra crew, aboard the Jaguar I-Pace number 702, won the third edition of the 1000 Miglia Green ahead of Massimo Degli Espositi and Anna Giorgi, in second place in a Mercedes-Benz EQA number 703, and the Mooney crew, Bruno di Nunzio and Filippo Paolucci, arrived third with the Porsche Taycan number 701.
Also this year the Guest Car of the 1000 Miglia 2021 was the Hyper Suv Vision 2030, the fully electric concept car designed by GFG Style and driven by Fabrizio Giugiaro.
The three crews turned on their silent engines on Wednesday 16th June in Brescia and returned there on Saturday 19th where they finished the race on the historic ramp of Viale Venezia: a challenge won, completing the 1,750 kilometers of the 1000 Miglia Green 2021 in full electric mode, and a unique journey alongside the most beautiful race in the world.
