After the success of the Prologue, the first official 1000 Miglia Warm Up Switzerland was held. A weekend of training in pure 1000 Miglia style to acquire the regularity races techniques and perfect the navigation skills under the guidance of the 1000 Miglia experts.
On the lakeside of Lugano, in the heart of the city centre, the participants put their skills in practice and tackled the time trials. Afterwards, the crews moved towards the south to discover the Mendrisiotto district, famous for its vineyards and spectacular mountain roads.
Whilst on the last day the crews went up to the North, to the Locarno district, to discover the local valleys.
The experienced crews faced 1000 Miglia Warm UP Switzerland as a last training session before the challenging 1000 Miglia 2023, while the beginners had a perfect opportunity to gain experience of participation in a regularity race for hisotric cars.
The cars built up to 1976 were admitted to the event.
