In February 2026, Livigno played a leading role in the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games, writing a page destined to go down in history. For two weeks, the resort welcomed the world by hosting the snowboard and freestyle races: 26 Olympic titles were awarded for jumps, tricks and breathtaking descents, in a technical and spectacular setting of the highest level.

The Livigno Snow Park and the Aerials & Moguls area were transformed into international stages, animated by thousands of visitors from every continent. Different languages, flags and cultures coloured the town, recognising Livigno as a venue capable of combining organisational excellence, hospitality and Alpine identity.

The legacy goes beyond medals. Livigno has shown that sport is not just competing, but a common language and a bridge connecting cultures.

Welcome to Val Mustair

The town of Val Müstair is famous for its nature, tranquillity and culture. Some of its main attractions are the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Benedictine Monastery of St John the Baptist, the Engadine Val Müstair Biosphere Reserve and the Swiss National Park.

The valley offers recreational activities all year round: in winter, winter sports such as skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. In summer, the walking trails allow you to explore breathtaking landscapes, while the biking trails satisfy both beginners and experts. Val Müstair is also characterised by living traditions and a typical language: the Romansh language. For the local population, called “Jauers”, it is simply “nossa Val” – the Monastery Valley.

Arosa: alpine nature at 1,800 metres

Located in eastern Switzerland in the canton of Graubunden, Arosa combines unspoiled Alpine scenery with action and relaxation in perfect balance. Surrounded by majestic peaks and nestled between the tranquil Obersee and Untersee lakes, this traditional mountain health resort has long been known for its fresh mountain air and restorative atmosphere.

In winter, the ski area around the Weisshorn offers direct access to Arosa Lenzerheide, with over 225 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes. Early risers can carve their first turns at sunrise, while others explore the snowy landscape on guided ski safaris.

The Vereina Car Transport

The Vereina car transport service connects Klosters Selfranga with Sagliains in the Lower Engadin and represents an important year round transport axis between Northern and Southern Grisons. It is the only winter safe connection between the Engadin and the Prättigau. Vehicles are transported through the Vereina Tunnel every thirty minutes.

The service is operated by the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) and is organised on a self financing basis. The car transport system makes a significant contribution to the accessibility of the region – for the local population as well as for tourism and freight transport. Safety, reliability and efficient operations are top priorities.

Loading takes place at the terminals in Klosters Selfranga and Sagliains. Different vehicle categories and user groups benefit from tiered tariffs as well as discounts for residents, businesses and frequent travellers.
