THE PARTNERSHIP WITH FIVA RENEWED FOR THE REGISTRO 1000 MIGLIA PROJECT

On the occasion of Rétromobile, the exhibition dedicated to classic cars that draws thousands of enthusiasts to the Porte de Versailles every year, 1000 Miglia and FIVA renewed the partnership that under the aegis of the Registro 1000 Miglia since 2018 has been a guarantee of excellence and transparency in the certification of historic vehicles. The agreement stipulates that, in order to register with the Registro, the cars must have obtained a FIVA Identity Card certifying their originality.

The Registro 1000 Miglia, which censuses, certifies and classifies the cars featured in the twenty-four editions of the 1000 Miglia speed race, held from 1927 to 1957, has received more than 2,000 applications to date, a prerequisite for certifying the vehicle’s eligibility for the Red Arrow events.

At the signing, Tiddo Bresters and Beatrice Saottini, the Chairman of FIVA and the Chairman of 1000 Miglia, expressed mutual satisfaction with the attention this collaboration has brought in the area of originality and historicity to the world of classic cars. The Registro 1000 Miglia project is completed with the fruitful collaborations with the Mille Miglia Museum, ACI Storico, ACI Sport and Ferrari Classiche.
